Ok. I will take me a little while to do any more work on this. I see that the United Nations / ISDR just circulated a final draft report summarizing the recommendations they received regarding international disaster mitigation efforts. And it appears that my own recommendations were well received. I am going to try to prepare and send them another note on this. That will take a little while.

To run my fault zone location determination Perl program you would need to have the Perl language compiler running on your computer which is discussed on the following Web pages (or a newer version if available):

http://www.freewebz.com/eq-forecasting/Perl.html

http://www.freewebz.com/eq-forecasting/301.html

That type of Perl program is different than the CGI (script?) programs which run at Web sites. Do you have the ability to write programs in either of those languages? I can handle the PC Perl programs but have not tried to do any Perl CGI work for a number of years.

Also, another important project involves finding a free Web site where Perl CGI programs can run and then organizing some data entry screens etc. Quite a few sites like that are available. But I have not had time to do any work in that area.
