There was a M4 or 4.3 between Ventura and Santa Barbara yesterday, along the coast. We have a paper to get out on this fault system, but it is not mine to write. I am getting some final figures done on Santa Monica-Dume fault. Guess I have to mention the M class solar flares and high-level (strong? severe?) geomagnetic storms. But, Roger pretty much demonstrated that flares can not have a strong effect (if any) on at least M5+ quakes. We have not done magnetic storms yet...
