A Day Without Rain

Hi Todd,

Don and I are rather mild mannered in what we say to him. You should hop over to sci-geo-earthquakes and have a look at the posts those folks make to him in an uncensored environment. It does get ugly sometimes, but honestly, of late, most ignore him. There are a couple dozen posts down below where you can clearly see neither Don, nor I or anyone else said a word. I try to slap my hand before I say anything, but every now and then it's like an itch that just has to be scratched. Very irritating.

I would like you Todd to explain to me how anyone who has never, ever posted a true prediction in advance of an earthquake can claim he is a total success. It does not happen here or anywhere else on the Internet. Combine that kind of thinking along with a person who refuses to stand up and be themselves, we'll I do have a problem with it.

Now he's grandstanding again, saying, "look at me, see I got there." Hell, everyone got there. The list is huge and obviously not well screened. Normally, this would not happen. To see his initials on the same page with Dr. Max Wyss makes me want to throw up. How in the world can a non-person be in a place with a highly noted seismologist? It happens because someone is asleep at the wheel. And they were. Every page says you cannot quote anything they have to say. Why? Because none of it is factual. So if its not factual it has no value and its not worth the read.

I see your point. It's well taken. I'll go back to doing what I should have done earlier and slap my wrist again before I write another word in or around him.

Petra
