Parkfield activity always perks my interest but I doubt it has anything to do with Ridgecrest.

Parkfield is on the San Andreas Fault and the Ridgecrest activity looks to be more geothermal in nature.

I've seen this sort of activity before at Parkfield with no resultant large quake.
