A light earthquake occurred at 5:51:32 PM (PST) on Saturday, January 15, 2000 .
The magnitude 4.3 event occurred 116 km (72 miles) WNW of Punta Gorda, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 2 km ( 2 miles).
