Hi EQF,

You're wrong about Don "not" working on any life saving issue during his lifetime. First and foremost he was in Korea and Vietnam and a few other places risking his life for others to be free. Today he is in constant pain from a helicopter crash and he doesn't complain that much about it either.

Secondly, in regard to earthquakes, he was right there with me in Sacramento and long before that helping to make the Water Heater bill a successful endeavor.

Thirdly, he's used his CPR training twice to save two people from dying from heart attacks.

None of the above required any computer programs. All are life saving issues and he didn't have to try to pull the wool over anyone's eyes for them to see that this honest man does any honest days work and he does it without blowing his own horn in the process.

One should keep things in perspective as well. One in every four persons in America will be involved in a car accident each year. You're far more likely to die in a car crash than you are from cancer or heart failure. But all of those rank well above dying from an earthquake. In the US you would be more likely to die of almost anything, except an earthquake. Between Northridge and Loma Prieta the lost were less than 200.

And in foreign countries people are more likely to die from starvation, car accidents, and poor health than they are from earthquakes.

Now, tell us what you've personally done that can be documented to show that you have saved the life of at least one person in your lifetime, or promoted something that will in the future contribute to saving someone's life. Donating blood does count.

Ah lighten up. You've got another 20 years at least to create 20 more whiz banger ideas. That's the good news...you've got plenty of time.
