It also seemed to me that the coastal areas are a little more active the last couple months. But, maybe just back to normal. The M5.2 or whatever is near the San Clemente fault, and this fault has had earthquakes of around this size in the last couple of decades....I think it had a swarm of 4s a couple years ago closer to Santa Clemente Island. We'll keep our eyes open. remember that a swarm of 3s and 4s in Santa Monica Bay preceded Northridge by about a week....
