M3.6s offshore San Simeon

There have been 3 M3+ quakes 13 or 14 km SW of San Simeon in the last day or 2...the largest was 3.6 or 3.8. The right-lateral San Simeon strand of the San Gregorio-San Simeon-Hosgri fault is along the coast, so these quakes on not on this fault.....but, if the structure there is similar to near Pt. Sal, then there may be some E-dipping faults that project beneath the San Simeon....could be on them.....(if indeed the structure looks like that....just a guess).....one way or another, stresses have been redistributed by the M6.5 or whatever it was (was not on the San Simeon fault...was a reverse/thrust fault farther east)......and some effects change with time....
