Hi John. The old saying about learning how to walk before you can run holds true here. This is a change from what was norm a few years ago when no one would step forward with a prediction of any kind. There were those who said earthquake prediction was impossible and there are those who are still saying it.

There have been some minor successes, but none that can be used on a regular bases. China had some success with the one they made, but when you look at the background for that quake it was almost a shoo-in. They were blindsided a year later in that no one saw that quake coming and for the most part they are still being blindsided.

Japan has poured a lot of money into prediction and they have yet to make one single prediction. They to were blindsided by the Kobe quake. The problem there was no one was looking for a quake of that magnitude to occur there. Take Care…Don in creepy town
