I have been talking with top earthquake researchers around the world for some time now. And I have found that quite often they know almost nothing about computers and the Internet.

Some of the work that I am doing involves trying to get international communications resources better organized so that people who are making important decisions regarding generating earthquake forecasts and doing earthquake forecasting research can communicate with one another in a more timely manner when necessary.
