Hi Kiddo. It takes a real quake to wake me up. Besides if you’ve felt one quake you’ve felt them all. Looks like there may have been some foreshocks to this quake.

The “first motion mechanism” is almost a pure thrust quake, which is not what you would expect to see if the quake was on the San Andreas Fault. There is a chance the quake may have occurred on the Vergeles Fault. The Vergeles Fault runs east and west at the epicenter of the quake before it makes a turn towards the north. Take Care…Cowboy
