near Butchart Gardens, they're pretty close, but Victoria is such a city for gardens, I wouldn't pay to go see B.G. again, it's almost twenty bucks.
The Butchart gardens sure are beautiful, and a lot of history there. Place was once a rock quarry!
Yes! There is a beautiful view of mount Baker and I have photographed it (to the East and North of here), with the sun rising over the summit. Beautiful! One of the greatest dangers from local
volcanoes is with a sudden eruption comes the immediate rapid melting of the immense glacier on her summit and if you recall Mt. St. Helens LAHAR
well, there's a lot more population in this area...and a lot more snow on the Mt. Baker glacier. I would hope she won't puff any smoke for a while longer, but big things in Cascadia could change that VERY quickly.
