The parking garage offsets were up a bit further on the mesa and consisted of horizontal and vertical offsets measuring 1/4 inch horizontally and 1/2 inch vertically. Most of the vertical movement was in the parking garage where a spring is eroding out under the cement when it rains. We actually had water coming up out of the ground there in the winter of 1999/2000. The horizontal movement cam be seen in the curbs outside all along the shoreward side of the complex.

I think that the offset in the curbs was right-lateral but I can't clearly recall.

Pointe Surfside is less than a quarter mile up the street from the sag pond.
