Got a mass email that San Simeon quake would have been forecast (meaning within years or decade?) if the researchers had been using the northern California catalogue...see link

By the way, John linked over to the Berkland page back then, and I looked at it, and there seemed to have been someone who had a rather close prediction of a large quake off of Vandenberg (was north of there, but not bad) for about the right date. I guess the predicter passed his hand over a map for this ("sensitive"). I think Roger was wondering if this person did so many predictions that he was bound to be close eventually...I don't watch that board so don't know what came of this.....Chris
