Roger-I think that is the problem. If you only look at the day, and not the hour, you will have artifically less quakes on day zero. For example, if the initial quake occurs at noon GMT on Julian Day 100, Day zero will show half the quakes of other days, because it will be only for 12 hours. Oh-I see, are you allowing quakes that occurred before? If the initial quake occurs at noon, are you allowing "following" quakes that occur at 8 AM? The problem with doing that is that the relationship of the 8AM quake to the noon quake was already done, in the olther sense.......
