The fault that Lynn S. has as far more dangerous than had been stated in the 2003 USGS report is the Hayward fault. He also thinks the Peninsular segment of the San Andreas fault has a somewhat higher chance of failing than was used in the 2003 work. And, yes, he says that USGS is biased to uncharacteristic quakes (irregular recurrence) by the Wrightwood-Pallett creek area, which is in an overlap zone between southern SAF and central SAF ruptures, and where smaller local quakes can also occur....Chris
