Interesting musings - There was a news bite the other day about some story related to Global warming and 'freezing' - Just a 'tag' before the story... I missed the story itself and can't find it now...

I guess the part of the global warning scenario that gets me is that we don't REALLY know how things happened in the past - we are coming out of an ice age, the poles have been melted in the past, it has happened on this planet several times in the past... We really don't know if its an extraordinary event or not...

I will agree there's more CO2 in the atmosphere - or that its increasing at an exponential rate - faster than ice cores have shown historically. And CO2 is a hothouse gas...

To me the big question is - how much difference has it made as far as time? 100 years sooner? 1000 years sooner? -

I also have heard some scientists say there's the potential for this to trigger the next ice age - maybe due to currents stopping or just crazy weather patterns....

We do live in interesting times.... my children are cats... a conscious choice.
