Half the fun of exploring earthquake prediction is to look at ground covered before. I too have mentioned the diurnal cycles, but I will do some more reading.

In the prior vein I post this I posted on Pinpoint:

Good news and bad news.

The good news is that the below Equator quake was a 5.1M and in Indonesia.

The bad news is that the blue is now over the red, and a dip in the red line is still near the second mark, which means (in my current state of exploring) a 6M or greater quake is possible in the Northern Hemisphere in the near future.

That of course leaves a lot of susceptible sites besides SF. And here we have a perigee week ending today with one 6M quake, last Friday, when I would have expected three.

So we continue to watch, the Kp values go back down, and this may be like revelation chess as the suppressing elements are removed.
