Hey Bob, Congrats!

But you might want to hold out for something a little larger from that area right down to the Bay area in the 6+ range.

Something I picked up yesterday is giving my leading indicators some pause to wonder. Its difficult when you're new at this thing to figure out exactly what to expect, but seems closer to me than farther away. If its a 6+ from up north I think I can feel it right here, but if closer, for sure. I haven't had the earth move under my feet since Bolinas, this could be interesting.

You know they said 3 days before the 1906 earthquake that Vesuvius blew. Seems somehow Italy and this area have some kind of connection. It wasn't so long ago that they were having movement in their area and now we have some. Could prove worthy of future observation.

So, you may want to think that your window truly is still open. We had rain during the night, the first in months. Its cloudy and looks like more is possible. Kind of nice when you only get it once in awhile. My lawn was drying out and getting brown. As I don't know how to turn on the sprinkler system, its good that Mother Nature decided to water it for me. Of course, I could have done it the old fashioned way with a hose and a sprinkler, but by the time I get home its dark and not favorable for watering.

So congrats on the hit, I'll let you know if I feel anything down here in the near future.
