This expected earthquake appears to have done what I suspected it might do. The signals I detected were generated around the time that the sun and the moon were on opposite sides of the Earth. After they moved past that position the fault zone (wherever it is) stopped generating strong warning signals. It might generate additional ones at some multiple of 7 days after January 8 UTC.
