I think we have a lot of latitude on this board to be open to predictions of various types and windows do not have to be that tight. But like you, I'd like to see something written about where a possible quake might show up if someone is telling us a "warning type signal" has arrived. To do otherwise I think more or less falls within long term probabilities or generalities which have no basis in short term prediction.

I get ear tones almost every day, most of them are of no importance at all so I don't post about them. Small quakes around here a dime a dozen. So if I used someone elses terminology I think the Bay Area folks would feel they are on constant alert and eventually ignore me all together.

Today I got two tones, one for Don and another for that same area around Lompoc. Don loves it when I tell him he's going to get an earthquake, because it is one of the few places I hit every single time. As for the other, it ain't no big deal. I do think its important though to know about where its going to happen, before it gets here and when its no big deal.
