I agree. There are certain medications which I take that have similar affect.
The weed has a baaaaaad effect on my CNS. Gives me Anxiety Attacks......Being a child of the 60's and being a long time Mendocino resident, I have had occassion to come into contact with this of which you speak. Now I stay as far away as possible....but as for others, I have seen many stories of the beneficial qualities in medicine.
You would not believe how radical it is in Mendocino. The county prosecutor will not try a case of a simple user. He was elected just because of that! And then he fired any deputies that disagreed with him. In many locations in the coastal areas especially, people smoke it in the open on the streets without fear. Its like living in a different country!:-)
Here is an example. The Caspar Inn in Caspar just south of Fort Bragg. It has been around forever. The town population is about 400 or so...and the bar only seats---well I dont know but it isn't big---but names like Bonnie Raitt,
the old Grateful Dead, and many more play there--mostly because they have second homes in or near Mendocino...but at anyrate....Hey I'll put down the URL and folks can see for themselves.
