John, I had permission from wife in suburbia to mention the gas out of the faults, but gave more detail than she wanted-it's not my work except for the display of the data. This is caught up in a big complicated international collaboration. A paper will be submitted relatively soon. So, I can't make figures available.

On the other hand, my own work shows gas leaking out of the offshore Oak Ridge fault in Santa Barbara Channel-you can see amplitude anomalies within 2 or 3 m of the seafloor. This is public USGS/MMS minisparker data. I made figures that showed this and a Bottom-simulating reflection ("frozen" methane-related) for an unsuccessful NSF proposal and an abstract (Kennett and Sorlien, 1999 (?) Pac Section AAPG. So, I could email you one or 2 of these figures....but only if you request this... Also, the data are not as high-resolution...
