here is a comment-give up on the electron graph until you know what you are looking at, and until you give a reason why this is credible. For now, it just looks like you do not discriminate at all. On the other hand, the Loyalty Islands swarm is interesting and there might be some pattern there. I posted the subduction pattern-extension SW of trench followed by thrusting NE of trench. Maybe make a simple graph of Moment release vs time (hour&day). Or, since I don't know how to calculate Moment either, you can make up an arbitrary scale of energy release-a M5=1, M6=30, M7=900...

Or, if the number of quakes is more interesting, just plot # quakes >M5. But wait until they are all posted. Chris
