Count me in on all three counts.

My son, the one who just graduated in geophysics is a first class jazz pianist. He has decided to make the latter his career. He has two regular gigs, students, and the U. of O. asked him to be their pianist in their big band even though he is a grad. I told him he should take some courses in theory, too, as it just comes naturally to him. He's been playing since he was nine, quit when he was 15, and didn't resume for about another five years. He'll be 25 in two weeks. He's had excellent teachers, though, and sometimes plays ten hours a day.

Well, that's my brag alert for awhile.

So there's one for you, Petra.
