John, I doubt that there is accelerating moment release over the last 15 years in the Salton Sea area (meaning, say, within 50 km or less). Just an opinion from looking at the quake maps.

Lamont is in a nice location, but some find it isolated. For me, the location near a big city is a nagative, not a plus-I don't like big cities and never go in there. But, I like it better here than I expected....wonderful park 1/2 hour north...Chris
