Petra and Chris

Comments are welcome, especially from archival information. I am not sure which graph Petra is referring to, but I am using the set below the solar flare graph, and the electron graphs are the second and third.

There has been enough dipping and below the median line to make some correlations for the past three days. Here are my gleanings:

Date Dip Time Quake Time
12/27 03:00 AM 6.1 LI 04:55
10:30 7.0 LI 16:01
21:00 PM 6.6 LI 22:38 PM
5.8 LI 22:58

12/29 00:00 5.8 H 01:30 AM
09:00 AM 5.8 L 11:48

That looks to me like there could be be an hour or two warning, but it would have to be coupled with an interpretation of how much the curve had dipped. Actually, I would guess this is insufficient time for a reasonable warning, but might be useable in conjunction with other more long range indicators, especially those with highly suspected aftershock sites, as with the Loyalty Island (LI) sites above. The other one of the total reported was Hokkaido (H).
