Pardon me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard.

That's the sort of thing I wanted to do at USGS but back then my 25MHz PC was state of the art and couldn't begin to handle GOCAD.

I do have a program to plot quakes in 3d stereo pairs which I can see without glasses, crosseyed.
But it's way too slow for real-time viewpoint changes.

I'd like to be able to make 3d models out of clear plastic but the technology isn't up to it yet.
