paradigms

Tony, I got on the wrong side of a paradigm-the fault bend fold model. It took N.S. and I 5 years to get our paper out, partly/largely because of that. I am open to many of the strange things posted here-like FFAs, magnetic storm triggering. It just bugs me when people just accept that it is true without questioning it/demonstrating that it is true. Roger's work shows that the effect is either weak or non-existent for M5+ earthquakes. But, this needs to be looked at harder-for example, specific regions for M3+ quakes, correlating Kp index rather than Xray (flare).....Tides are worth looking at, as EQF is, but some of his posts don't provide any new information and/or are impossible to evaluate, so are not interesting to me. I checked the link to his page, and would have to spend days to make sense of his tables-I don't have the time-this is a hobby, and he has not convinced any/many that his approach works and is worth the time to evaluate it-although Don may have looked hard at this.
