Hi Canie. I know when the dilational strain meters were working in the area of San Juan Bautista I was able to see 7 quakes in the making. You could see the increase in strain, you would see them peak, then level off and then unload. It would be about 6 to 18 hours later that the quake would occur. The whole process would take less then 36 hours. I don’t know it that is the same for all quakes and or faults. Sort of wondering if we will see the same thing with InSAR. It’s a shame you have to have the big quakes in order to learn about them. Sort of like learning to walk before you run. Take Care…Don in creepy town
