You're talking apples and gnats. Reservoir loading is quite different from the impact of a solar flare, for example.

I agree that faults may be in a critical state such that a tiny additional load can cause an avalanch effect and if we knew which one and when, we might be able to use the information predictively.

But we don't know and likely can't know.

As I've said many times, you can pull the trigger on an unloaded gun all day.
