Re: 6.2M Quake in the Andreanof/Aleutians as Solar Electron Flux Rises |
Hi Donald, After I read through that information from Dr. Whiteside’s thesis I concluded that an effort to try to link the earthquakes with solar and geomagnetic storms etc. might be something of a lost cause because the subject matter is so complex. We can continue watching. But his theories are already pretty well developed. So we are probably not going to add too much new. Where we might be able to make some progress is with linking things like Ear Tones with the solar and geomagnetic storms. I want to try to find a way to tell when the Earth is moving from one sun magnetic field region to another, assuming I understand what is taking place there. Those data are probably available somewhere. As I said in one of my other reports I have recently had a chance to see some of the earthquake forecasting data etc. being collected by earthquake workers in China. And they are pretty impressive. If you visit that Web page I listed you will see that they have a large network of electromagnetic energy field detection stations which I believe are linked together to some extent in an effort to identify possible locations for earthquakes through triangulation processes etc. And they are spending a lot of time looking at geomagnetic signals. Something which is pretty amazing to me is the fact that as far as I can tell, earthquake researchers here in the U.S. have little or no idea regarding the type of work which is being done over there. It is as if there are two separate planet Earths.
