There appears to be a misunderstanding here.

I thought that I made it quite clear that what I was explaining was information that I found in that selected text from Dr. Whiteside's thesis. Those solar theories are not my own.

According to that information, the sun's magnetic field does not change. Instead it creates regions in space where it is oriented in different directions. They constantly rotate. And as they do that the Earth is in one region and then 7 days later in another. So the sun magnetic field orientation that it encounters changes every week.
