Low frequency radio waves

Hi Donald,

I am afraid that we are getting into areas here which are out near the edge of my knowledge of science.

The Earth is surrounded by a geomagnetic energy field as you know. But if my understanding of this is correct, in a part of the atmosphere there is a band which serves as an effective conductor for very low frequency radio waves. They are down in the area of 1 cycle per second.

Those waves can reportedly travel around the world with relatively little loss of signal intensity. They apparently get started as the result of lightning strikes and other phenomena and have some link with both the Earth’s geomagnetic energy field and earthquakes. And since the solar storms data do not appear to be conclusive at the moment I am starting to make an effort to watch those low frequency radio waves to see if they match any earthquake occurrence and earthquake warning signal generation times.
