Just a note:
The last half of Dec. 2, UTC, there was a high solar proton flux. See

The parade of 5M quakes continues. The solar electron flux is again rising.

It is hard to draw any conclusions from this regarding big earthquake prediction, and I am still mystified about the lack of big quakes with the closest perigee of the moon this year, coincident with the new moon to boot. Maybe the Mars sequence of quakes just exhausted the geology? There have also been several months with at least one 7M quake.
