All

In looking at whether solar protons and electrons suppress or enhance big earthquakes in the last perigee cycle, I have to conclude that suppression was in effect. On the basis of a study of 2002, I expected three earthquakes of 6M or greater, and there was only one. On the other hand there a continuing high flux of electrons and s minimal one of protons, which supposedly is related to more quakes.

In the past two years, however, if a perigee was missed, there was a period of big quakes a week later, which by my framework means the three days before and after the point or maximum velocity as the moon went away from the earth. This is reasonably a point of maximum instability in gravity forces between the earth and sun.

Practically this time at risk is from 27 November to 4 December. The watch continues.

Stay safe!
Donald
