Expected earthquake(s)

Don,

It appears to me that the earthquake I have been expecting “went underground” so to speak. It disappeared completely from the radar screens. My best probable location for it was in a northwestern Pacific Ocean area. And research personnel in that area were given an exact location in a warning. But the latest signals are no longer pointing to that same location.

Tomorrow, November 24 is when the sun and moon will be closest to one another in the sky (longitude). And simply based on that I suspect that we could see some significant earthquake activity. I also have some warning signal data pointing to around that time. But right now I am just watching to see what is going to happen without really expecting anything special.

The following is something that I have been observing for several years:

In November and December I frequently detect sizeable numbers of fairly strong earthquake warning type signals. But nothing significant happens. And it appears that the earthquakes I was expecting start occurring in January and February of the following year.

If this is actually more than just a coincidence I would guess that it has to do with the position of the Earth relative to the sun at this time of the year. Their closest approach time is around the end of the year. And the sun is also at its farthest point south around that same time, though they are not exactly the same.

The main precursor data that I use give me some idea regarding how strongly felt an expected earthquake will be. And they might indicate if it will occur in 2 days versus 6 days. But if it does not occur within 7 days then I can’t say much about its occurrence time. It could be delayed for weeks or even months.

By plotting the precursor data on my Wave Charts I can generate some information on which day during future 7 day time periods the earthquake would be most likely to occur. Roughly 29 and 58 day delays are common. So that information is somewhat helpful.

Something that I am quite happy about at this time if the fact that things have gotten sufficiently well organized that I think that it should finally be possible to begin making some real progress with linking precursor and earthquake times with things such as electron or proton type geomagnetic storms etc.
