Cathryn, There are flocks of researchers around the world who are using expensive scientific instruments to detect various types of electromagnetic energy fields in an effort to forecast earthquakes. Other researchers have gone to great lengths to see if different animals can detect the approach of an earthquake But at the same time the world of science is largely ignoring one of the best and most inexpensive sources of high quality earthquake warning information, and that is data from people who are earthquake sensitive. One of the things that I have been trying to do is put those types of data to good use. I have developed the necessary data processing computer programs. And now it looks like I can see clear, definite links between those signals and certain types of solar and geomagnetic storms. Unfortunately, efforts to discuss those subjects here on this board invariably result in endless heated arguments. I am doing my best to ignore the irrelevant rhetoric. The effort has been at least somewhat successful.
