Yes. I saw that Web page before but did not know how to interpret the data. It appears to have much of what I have been looking for such as information on the type of solar storm etc. And I am going to move it towards the top of my list of sites that I check on a regular basis.

As Donald was saying, this latest geomagnetic storm looks like it got started as a CME. I believe that a CME is a type of solar storm where the sun just blasts large amounts of material into space including entire atoms or at least heavy ions rather than just photons (X-rays etc.), electrons, and protons.

One of the charts at that Web page indicates to me that this CME looks it eventually contained a high density of protons, positive charge carriers. When that happens I believe that there should be a drain in the electron population in the Earth’s geomagnetic field. And one of the other charts does show a strong electron population decrease. So, that is valuable information. Perhaps we can now start correlating Ear Tones etc. with certain types of geomagnetic and solar storms and also watch for earthquake triggering effects.
