EQF and all; The probability program is quite simple. It combines into one program all the various things I used to do "by hand". It has the NEIC database of all 5+ quakes globally. This is searched for all quakes matching the desired location and magnitude ranges. I use the Jones probability calculation which counts the number of windows containing quakes of the desired size and divides that by the total number of such windows in the entire database timespan to get the probability number. This minimizes the effect of clustering. Currently one can do global, circle or rectangular area searches for any magnitude range and any time span within reason. A zoomable map input has been suggested but is too elaborate to do. I'd suggest using MS Encarta Virtual Globe to determine the input parameters. That's too big a wheel for ME to reinvent.
