Cathryn, you completely misinterpreted what I said. And I really dont' understand why you decided to interpret my note in such a manner.

Putting it another way, Canie decides what the policies are here. And she recently expressed a complaint about the arguments which were taking place. All I was saying was, "Let't try to keep her happy and not wear out our welcome."

You had some complaints in the past about the lengthy messages which were being posted here. True, they are long. But look what happens when short notes get posted. They can be unclear and misinterpreted.

Once again, I am trying to avoid an argument here. And remember, you posted the note asking me to respond.

Regarding remaining neutral, you don’t need to worry about that. What I consider to be important work that I am involved with is taking place elsewhere. The EarthWaves board is largely a convenient location for reporting on some of those activities. The discussions or whatever which are taking place here are not affecting anything. I do wish that some actual scientific work could get done here. But so far that has been a little sparce. That might change before too long in view of some recent developments.
