A special note thanks to Karl on www.aantares.com for this site:
The double Leonid Meteor Shower needs this useful calculator for the best time to see the meteors at various locations:
http://aio.arc.nasa.gov/~leonid/estimator.html
There is more also from NASA at
http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2003/10oct_doubleleonids.htm
The showers peak on 13 and 19 November.

Recent Volcanic Eruptions

Weekly GVN/USGS report not available. Daily VAAC showed only Colima and Tungurahua active, neither with ash to 8 km.

Only the first part is presented this time because of continuing problems with the tables.
The monthly tabulation of 6M and greater quakes will be given if there is interest.
