Hi EQF,

Obviously you haven't thought about this path yet. So let me put it to you this way. If you were the governor of the state of "whatever" and someone with your material arrived and said you should evacuate the city, what would you do? If you make the wrong choice then you're gonna fry and soon you won't be the governor of "whatever". You'll be unemployed.

They say, "don't judge me until you have walked in my shoes." Therefore we have to just imagine being responsible for millions of people and trying to make the right choices for them knowing full well the costs involved, possible loss of life if we make the wrong choice and what our future in the world would be as a result.

Frankly, I do not want that kind of responsibility nor do I advocate giving advise to people to make choices which are not wisely thought out. Before you throw rocks at the people you communicate with, ie: government officials who are politicians or scientists who know about earthquake prediction, it might be wise to know that without them there would never be any advance on earthquake prediction. The scientist needs the politician to give him/her to the money to do the work in most cases, so they need each other.

Sleep on it, I'm sure you'll come up with some new ideas in time. Fortunately, I'm very well organized so I have time to devote to this topic.
