With humor intended I will outline what appears to be one those “Murphy’s laws” type rules which applies to Internet communications.

There seems to be some basic law of the universe which states that nothing moving from point A to point B on the Internet can arrive in the form it was sent or was intended to be sent. If you send someone an e-mail letter which contains only the letter “a” then when it arrives at its destination it will say “b.”
