X18 (?) flare just now

Just a day or 2 before the two biggest/most active sunspots disappear behind the limb of the sun, we just got, if I am reading the log scale correctly, about an X18 or X20 flare. X20 is the biggest recorded in the last 30 years. Spaceweather.com is calling it an X11 or 12, but that's not how I read the graph. I'm a little discouraged about any large-scale earthquake triggering, or even any at all, but it is still a geophysical event! Chris
