Roger, let me see if I have this correct. Someone would specify prediction parameters such as location, time, magnitude etc. for the earthquake they were expecting. And your proposed program would generate a probability number which would indicate how likely it would be for an earthquake like that to occur in that area during that time period.

Is that what you are proposing?

Once I understand exactly what you are proposing I can check with some of my contacts who are involved with formal earthquake forecasting efforts and see what they think about such a program. They might say that one already exists. Or perhaps they would be interested in it when it is ready to go. They might also recommend some additions etc.

I am assuming this would be a compiled program written in True Basic.
