NOAA is forecasting a severe to extreme geomagnetic storm. Only problems are-they are wrong on this a lot, and they don't say when. I'm going hiking now in the state park to the north with my daughter-will take flashlight, in case we want to stay after dark-going to see fall colors, but the satellite figure at space now (NOAA) is sugesting aurora in the NE US (not strong yet-just a hint).
