The geomagnetic storm did not last very long, and got only to Kp7 (out of 9). I don't see anything unusual earthquake-wise on the California map. As far as intraplate NAM, it's weekend now and NEIC does not keep up with quakes over the weekend. But, I think it less likely we will see very much unusual out of this-some of the quakes in the past seem to be connected with long-duration high Kp (or, I'm fooling myself and that was a coincidence)....The aurora map did not show anything special last night or today. So, the forecasts and media coverage may have been overblown....Chris
