Hi Canie. I have read quite a bit about this gentleman and the method he uses. I still have the same problem with the method that he uses.

"The direction of these sounds can be scaled, depending upon their strength and force. Let me try to explain with a rough example. If you FELT that these sounds were coming from, say one kilometer away, it is certain the earthquake would hit some 1,500 kilometers away." The problem here is with FELT. I doubt that any two people will feel the exact same think when they are presented with the same sound. There is nothing in the article that said the instrument allowed him to fix the location of the impending quake so I have to assume (which is a word I hate) that he felt that the quake would occur where he said it would. Also there is nothing that says now the direction the sound is coming from is determined.

However the gentleman should be applauded for going public with his thoughts and feelings. If he can show that it works and does this before the quake occurs then you put the learned ones in the position of trying to prove him wrong, or look for a way to duplicate what he has. If it can be show that his predictions are beyond those of chance then it could be a little hard for anyone to prove him wrong, or that it can’t be done. Take Care…Don in creepy town
