Roger emailed me that the graph that we were discussing is not correct due to problems in his program (after I question the text output file). He sent me a new graph and the new output file. I need to later spend some time looking at the output file (I can't get his program to run on my computer). The graph has peaks, but only 2 of them are at FFA distances-about 103 deg has a peak. Also, the peaks are not as large, but if the graph was scaled to ignore quakes within 1 or 2 degrees, the peaks would still look like something. But, one of us still has to go over the output file to see what is making the peaks. Also, it might be of some concern to the theory that the FFA distances are not matched. But, it is still possible that there are problems with the program, and this is for M5+ quakes following all the M8+ quakes. This is not likely to be exactly what Lowell did in his thesis. More later-Roger, you may want to start a new thread....Chris
